How does Parent Talk membership work and how much is it?

Families join Parent Talk for a 12-month period and have the option to renew their memberships annually. The cost of membership is $100 per year.

How is a Parent Talk membership a good value?

In addition to the community connections developed through membership, Parent Talk members enjoy a huge range of financial benefits: discounts at numerous local retailers, restaurants, and enrichment vendors; free museum passes; free admittance to the Parent Talk lecture series; invitations to weekly free or reduced rate family and child events. The annual monetary savings more than covers the annual membership fee. Review the complete list of member discounts.

How is Parent Talk’s budget spent?

Parent Talk membership dollars support the organization’s extensive programming and community initiatives. For example, Parent Talk pays annual rent and covers all of the associated operating expenses of the organization’s indoor playspace in Dover. In addition, Parent Talk membership dollars help the organization offset programming costs associated with hosting lectures by renowned speakers as well as frequent family and adult-only events, which are then offered to members at no cost.

Does Parent Talk have a discussion board for sharing resources? (ie. reliable childcare; a great pediatrician; a new dentist…)

Parent Talk has a popular and active online discussion Forum where members can ask each other questions and learn from the experiences of other members.
