Lecture Series

Parent Talk offers informative and fun lectures throughout the year. The lectures are given by expert speakers on topics relevant to parenting and child development. Admission is free to Parent Talk members. Non-members can participate for a small fee.

The evening lecture series is a wonderful way to meet new friends and connect with old ones plus learn from experienced presenters who draw from an array of research and published work.

Lecture topics addressed over the past few years include: improving your children’s sleep (featuring Dr. Richard Ferber), Tools for Talking with Young Children (featuring author, Sarah MacLaughlin), Too Much of a Good Thing (featuring Dan Kindlon), Girls Will be Girls (featuring Dr. Joann Deak) and many more. We look forward to growing the series and welcome volunteers to participate in its development and maintenance. To get involved, please email lecture@parenttalk.org.
